Experience:
ASM-GOALING Project
Since April 1999
SUN Microsystems, Chelmsford (Boston) ,
MA
This project is currently under development using lot
of Unix shell scripts, Java programs and stored procedures in Oracle and
Sybase. BRIO software would be used as a reporting tool. When completed,
this would capture and effeciently validate the data coming through new
and existing Contracts throughout the year. At the end of the fiscal year
this data along with the data from other systems would be merged and help
in preparing Goals for the Sales Managers for the next fiscal year. Once
installated, the time taken for the GOALING process would be reduced to
1 month, compared to the 5 months, which is done manually.

Datawarehousing
Project
Dec
1998
3COM,
Santa Clara, California
Work mainly involved
designing of the datawarehouse and preparation of the universes in Business
Objects, to ultimately take over the existing universe, which has gone
outdated with time and requirements. The reports were created using Business
Objects Web-Intelligence and BO 4.x, so that those can be distributed over
the intranet. Also did the system study to identify the drawbacks in the
current system and suggested ways to get rid of those, thereby developing
a datawarehouse that eliminates those drawbacks.
